Volunteer  

Any organization is only as good as its, Board of Directors, staff, members/clients and VOLUNTEERS. We understand that you may need us as much as we need you. It is a wonderful feeling to give back to your community.

We have several different types of opportunities to volunteer at the Center.

• Have you ever wished that you could facilitate a discussion group on your experiences, views of life and daily news, and your favorite books? This is your chance. We always need interesting people to lead discussion groups.

• The Adult Day Care/Alzheimer’s Program needs volunteers who are loving and non-judgmental to work with the staff in daily activities.

• Are you musical, skilled in dance, yoga, crafts? We need volunteers to teach classes.

• There are periodic mailings and we need help getting them out.

• We serve a lunchtime meal and need help in the kitchen serving our Senior Center members.

• We are always opened to new ideas for volunteerism at the Center.
