Senior
Center
The Daniel D. Cantor Senior Center is
the second home to over 1,000 members.
The programs are a mix of social,
educational and recreational activities.
A social worker is available to provide
information and referral, crisis
intervention and assistance in daily
problem solving. A licensed practical
nurse provides health support and
education classes, simple health
screenings and health counseling. Door
to door transportation is available.
Broward Meals on Wheels administers a
Kosher meal program at the Center.
There are over 60 different programs
offered weekly. On Friday, Shabbat is
celebrated with special programs and a
traditional Sabbath meal.

Help lessen your chances of
spreading and getting the flu:
Doctors say to gargle twice daily with warm salt water, Listerine or to
drink warm liquids. Add foods with Vitamin C to your diet. The CDC
suggest washing hands frequently or use an alcohol based hand rub, keep
your hands off your face, and cover your nose and mouth with a tissue
when you cough or sneeze and throw it away.

The
Leo Goodman Senior Complex is the shining star of senior services in NW
Broward County. On our campus sits the Daniel Cantor Senior Center,
the Kurt and Alice Walter Adult Day Care Center, the Aaron and
Frances Levey Senior Residence and the Sam and Adele Borger
Senior Residence.
